iOS 5.1.1 ออกมาให้ update กันแล้ว เป็นการเปิดตัวมาอย่างเงียบ ๆ แบบที่ไม่เคยมีข่าว(ลือ)ใด ๆ ออกมาก่อน การปรับปรุงครั้งนี้ถือว่าเป็น minor update ที่เป็นเพียงการปรับปรุงและแก้ไขปัญหาเล็ก ๆ น้อย ๆ ต่าง ๆ (ตามรายการข้างล่าง) แต่สิ่งหนึ่งที่ผมคิดว่าอาจจะเป็นสาเหตุหลักที่ Apple รีบปล่อย iOS 5.1.1 ออกมาอย่างรวดเร็ว อาจจะเป็นเพราะว่ามีข่าวว่า hacker สามารถ Jailbreak iOS 5.1 แบบ Untether ได้แล้ว จึงทำให้ Apple ต้องขยับตัวเสียหน่อยกระมังครับ

iOS 5.1.1 update list:
- Improves reliability of using HDR option for photos taken using the Lock Screen shortcut
- Addresses bugs that could prevent the new iPad from switching between 2G and 3G networks
- Fixes bugs that affected AirPlay video playback in some circumstances
- Improved reliability for syncing Safari bookmarks and Reading List
- Fixes an issue where ‘Unable to purchase’ alert could be displayed after successful purchase
